This sounds like bug 1062335. Did you also change the Windows theme meanwhile?

I was using a theme to create this, but not switching in between like in the other bug. I just switched to default theme and the problem doesn't occur.
It's not clear to me that this is the same issue as bug 1062335, although the symptom is the same. For now I'll mark this as dependent on bug 1062335. Once that bug is resolved, bakolden5, I'll need you to confirm this is resolved as well.
