When you trigger the responsive mode to test how your page behaves for the mobile version, there should be some way to change the User Agent and refresh the page to be using a mobile user agent because the html itself sent by the server can be different if the visitor is on mobile or on desktop.

Example: Firefox download page have a different messaging and download links if the visitor is on Desktop or Mobile.
Component: Developer Tools → Developer Tools: Responsive Mode
I would very much like to see this happen. I think the only pain point is how to switch the UA *only* for the active tab.
Summary: Responsive mode should have an optionto change the UA for a mobile UA → Responsive mode should have an option to change the UA for a mobile UA
The new RDM shipping in Firefox 52 has a device list that does apply the UA of devices when they are chosen. However, it does not allow entry of arbitrary UAs yet. Is the device list sufficient, or do you need arbitrary UAs as well?

I think the current list is sufficient, thanks.
