Steps to reproduce:

Opened my Trash folder (contains 88K items).  In search bar typed Aleks. 


Actual results:

It spent 46 seconds finding 17 matches.


Expected results:

Prior to version 2.29 this search was virtually instantaneous, or at least it didn't take long enough to drive me into opening a bug.
