The profile edit modal does not give feedback to the user that they entered an invalidly formatted url. Leads the user to believe that they entered a valid url. Steps to reproduce: 0. log in to a valid account on affiliates.allizom.org 1. edit the users profile, enter an invalid url, "http://wiki.mozilla.org/09 17 14" 2. click save Expected: The modal dialog displays an error for that field, invalid website entered Actual: After clicking save, the user is routed to their profile page. To outward appearances the invalid url is saved. No notification to the user is given that it wasn't saved. Upon clicking #edit-profile during the same session, the invalid url is persisted in the form. Logout then login - Upon visiting #edit-profile, the invalid url is not persisted

All work on Firefox Affiliates is on hold as the Affiliates program is slated to be phased out in 2014.
