Details

The current behavior for clicking on a link with the middle mouse button is to
open a new window. I think it should just open up a new tab or at least be
easily configurable that way. Instead of just "Mouse Wheel" pref, you could have
a "Mousing Around" pref to configure other simple stuff like that.

In new builds you modify this behaviour in preferences' Navigator/Tabbed Browsing
