1069329 - [Dialer] Difficult to recognize an active call when callscreen is backgrounded

With the new status/notification bar, it could be difficult for a user to know that they have an active call still in progress.

One use case is following:
1. Have an active call up.
2. In the call screen press the + to add another call.  The in-call status shows for a few seconds at the top of the screen, then that goes away.  Then all the user sees after that is the notification bar.  It may be difficult for a user to know that the call is still there.

Other use case is to have an active call up and then background the call screen.  The call bar with the duration counter stays there for a few minutes, but then disappears and the user is left with the thin notification bar at the top as the only indicator that the call is still in progress.  It could be difficult for the user to figure out how to get back to the callscreen if they are not familiar with the notifications mechanism on the device.

The concern/question is whether this notification bar is enough of an indicator to a user that there is an active call going on.

Eric is currently fine-tuning the design. He has some proposal on solving this problem.

Hi Tamara, we are going to make a few updates to help make the active call more apparent.  The changes are in detail in the bug Carrie posted in her last comment but here's a summary:

1. Update to colours - less similar so the animation is more visable
2. Update of motion
3. Toast revealed every 30 secs

Eric: Do you have a video of the intended change? Most of the dogfood feedback I've heard is that the line version of that indicator looks like a glitch, people don't understand what it is.
