Actual results:

firefox hang/freeze and cpu load over 50%.
This works for me with Firefox32 on windows.

Reporter:
Do you still get the hang in the Firefox safemode ?

Do you need a login on that page ?
There is a login box at the left/top....

No problems on windows for me too, real installation or in virtualbox.
No pboblems with Chromium and Opera.
I tryed in safe mode and deactivating by hand java and flash plugins but the problem remain.
I don't need to login, is a directory list.
It works for me as well on Firefox32 on Ubuntu with the Ubuntu Firefox build.

Please try an official mozilla Linux build instead of the one shipping with manjaro/arch: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ .

Try https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Performance/Reporting_a_Performance_Problem

There's not much we can do here, since it seems specific to your system somehow...r

Due to the lack of response from the reporter, I will change the status of this bug to Resolved - Incomplete.

Reporter fell free to reopen the bug if you can still reproduce it on latest Firefox versions.
