Toolbar buttons with simply open a panel are an extremely common UI element. They should be transparently supported rather than requiring every user to wire them up with the same boilerplate code.

Taking that one; I have already something in mind, that we discussed during the last work week. We just decided to do not block the anchored panel waiting for some sugar syntax.

Not working on this anymore; and due the WebExtensions we're not probably going to add new functionality to SDK such this one.
