Steps to reproduce:

went to a web page and then after browsing closed firefox when i start it again i get an error firefox is already running but not responding please restart to fix this


Actual results:

got an error firefox is already running but not responding please close firefox or restart to fix this this is caused sometimes mostly running firefox 32 bit on 64 bit windows 8.1 fully updated


Expected results:

firefox should have started up

thanks YF (Yang)  i went to your link and then went to my profile folder and went to its properties and read only was parshelly checked i will see if i get this error and let you know for now this is solved just a little more information when i get this error i go to taskmanager and try to end firefox process but it doesnt end this problem only gos away after restarting my computer
