107260 - Text size on Microsoft sites appear tiny

Over various incarnations the sites microsoft.com and msn.com have become
progressively harder to read as the fonts became smaller. I'm unable to tell if
this it due to them coding to IE's layout engine (in which case, send this to
evang *grin*), down to my system set up, or down to mozilla.

Screenshots are coming. My set up is as follows:

19" Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 900u monitor
1280x960 screen size
xdpyinfo says res is 92x93dpi
Mozilla (nightly) has used both "System setting" and "94 dpi" settings
Using XFree86-4.1.0, with internal truetype renderer (though not for mozilla)
Have both 100 and 75dpi fonts installed.
My fontpath:

I also have various fonts installed from my old Windows box, such as Arial and
Verdana. These work fine.

Mozilla is set up to use Arial as the sans-serif font, with sans-serif over
serif in priority, with 12px size for both.

Opera 5 is set for 6px minimum font size, yet displays the text of msn.com fine.

Under windows 98SE the page www.msn.com looks identically under
Mozilla 0.9.5 and internet explorer 5.0
My screen resolution is 1600*1200

jg, I'm seeing the font under "Today on MSN" (at the top) come up in 11px font
(with default settings).

Could you try setting Mozilla's minimum font to 6px to see what happens?
