Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0 Build ID: 20140923175406 Steps to reproduce: Open an existing web page, and open the style editor (shift-F7). Either select an existing style sheet or create a new one. Either modify existing CSS rules or add new CSS rules. Actual results: The web page SOMETIMES updates with the changes to the CSS. Sometimes the updates disappear after a while. Sometimes the changes disappear when other changes are made to the CSS rules. Have done this on Mac and Windows, with and without lots of addons. Expected results: The web page should update immediately and consistently with the changes in CSS, and stay that way.

I think there's a really high chance this was fixed in bug 1040882, which landed in 33. In that case, every so often the last rule of the stylesheet you were editing would get dropped, and this would happen a couple seconds after you finished editing. This was much more pronounced when you created new sheets, as you were always editing the last rule there. Reopen if this is still an issue.
