Bug 1066885 shows the start recording button do a blue animation instead of a red one. See the video from that bug: http://youtu.be/8-mlqgAvaUY

I can not reproduce that part of the bug, and it doesn't seem like a blocker, so I've spun it off here.

This might be related to bug 1073144 which is about the shutter button sometimes looking like a square instead of a circle.
