Haven't figured out exact STR yet but it happened to me a couple times when playing around with landscape app (CutTheRope) pulling down the utility tray, trying edge gestures, task manager and press home button to go back to homescreen

This bug can be tricky to get. I've eliminated the need to mess with the Status bar. But it has something to do with putting the app in card view then repeatedly tapping the home button then opening the app again. It's low repro for sure.

STR:
1. Launch Cut The Rope in Landscape Mode.
2. Hold the home button to bring up card view.
3. Tap the game window then keep tapping the home button.
4. Repeat step 1-3 several times.

Hard to repro for sure and this leads to many other bugs I've seen that we are looking into as well.

This bug repro's on Flame KK builds: Flame 2.1 KK

Actual Results: Able to get the homescreen into landscape view by opening Cut the Rope and closing it many times.

Actual Result: Unable to get the homescreen to stay in landscape mode using Cut The Rope.

Well the homescreen is not usable in landscape mode. Just look at the picture.

Alive can you take a look? >10% repro rate is pretty bad.

Per comment 2 it looks like a v2.1 only regression.
I could mentor Sam/Aus/George to fix it.

I found a STR with 100% rate.

1. launch cardview
2. tap a landscape app
3. press home

I think my patch in bug 1074083 can also fix it.

George - it seems your patch for bug 1074083 DID fix this problem. Not sure if you want to close this as a dupe to that bug or just close it as fixed
