Steps to reproduce:
1. Right-click Calendar->New Event
2. Invite one attendee
3. Write the title ("Test")
4. Press save and close
Actual results:
The event was entered into the CalDAV calendar
Expected results:
The event entered into the CalDAV calendar, and invitations should have been sent to the invitee

If I select the local calendar, then an invitation is sent.
