Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/37.0.2062.124 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

Put a message in the outbox. Exit Thunderbird.

Actual results:

Thunderbird exits without warning the user that the outbox contains one or more messages.

Expected results:

Before exiting, if the outbox contains any messages, Thunderbird should warn the user.
TB does warn about that when you start it up. That seems like a better time than blocking the user when he wants to exit. Of course, if your use case is that the user forgot there are messages in Outbox and wants TB to remind him about that because the messages should be sent straight away, then that is something to consider.
