User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0
Build ID: 20140923175406

Steps to reproduce:

1. Download Firefox .DMG (English) from Mozilla site to a Mac running OS X 10.9.5.
https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-32.0.3-SSL&os=osx&lang=en-US
2. Double-click .DMG to mount.
3. Drag/drop Firefox to /Applications
4. Double-click Firefox

Actual results:

OS indicated following dialog: "Firefox.app" can't be opened because the identity of the developer cannot be confirmed.

See attached file. This has occurred with at least the last two security releases of Firefox (32.0.2 and 32.0.3).

Expected results:

Should have been prompted that I'd downloaded a file from the Internet and did I want to continue. Instead, I had to go into System Preferences | Security & Privacy, and override the fact that Firefox was not properly signed by clicking on an [Open Anyway] button.

I am assuming this is simply an oversight on the part of those putting the file together and not a malicious man-in-the-middle attack where someone has intercepted the download. But reporting it either way.
