Details

(Whiteboard: [closeme 2016-06-25 DUPME][dupme?])

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0
Build ID: 20140925013734

Steps to reproduce:

**** report ahead (but with an easy "solution").

I had my netbook suspended when having the message writing window open, and Thunderbird was probably just saving the message some time after resuming the computer (I don't know why else it would say "attaching...").

Actual results:

Neverending "Attaching...", then I pressed Save, and the "Attaching..." process ended.

Expected results:

Nothing. I don't want short messages saved. Saving should probably not be timed, but word-count triggered.

Suggested technical solution: have proper debugging for all essential processes, so that they can be restarted when they freeze.

This might still exist, and/or might be a duplicate.
But we can't say without involvement of the reporter, so => incomplete
