If a tutorial is detected, the project should open with tutorial pane open in expanded view

Tutorial in expanded view
It's a much better user experience for a learner to view the tutorial pane in fully expanded view. Many users who I have worked with are unaware of the expand button within the app. If the tutorial pane automatically opened in expanded view when a tutorial was detected, this would provide a much more humane experience.
a good idea, and maybe we can improve the expand icon too, because the diagonal arrows don't intuitively map to a horizontal expand/collapse.
