Assignee: nobody → dutch.nl
note: we also need subject lines. English uses "Inquiry about Mozilla _______"
Just want to make sure you guys saw this (nl, but also fy-NL for Wim) https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/mozilla.dev.l10n.web/aYGZi95EuCQ Unfortunately, even if the translation is complete, we won't be able to push to production without at least one generic autoresponder.
I don't really feel the need to localize all those template files, but anyone willing to is welcome to do so, after which I'll likely check them for errors and consistency. However, I kind of feel that one generic autoresponder would be sufficient (the generic template). Don't ask why - I just feel like either there won't be much responses to the responders themselves by Dutch people (i.e. is it worth it - and if so, do we need to translate their Dutch replies to English before forwarding them to the right person?), or Dutch people would not mind the responders to be in English at all. But it's just a feeling. Tim, what are your thoughts? If agreed, would you be able to take care of a required story for this generic template responder? Or would you rather see them all translated?
You can also remove all the other files (so the dashboard won't complain about untranslated files) and create a generic_template.txt If you later change your mind, you just need to get the English template from SVN, localize it and add it back to your repo.
Tim? (See comment 3)

Question, Now (before the new page) all the get involved form are send to the dutch contribute address. some get a auto responder and others not. If possible i answer those mails personally (or one of the other stewards). If we translate all responders will the forms still be forwarded to us, so if someone want to join mozilla in the Netherlands we will know? The load of mails here is not so big (max 10 forms a week) so i think we can just do a generic responder and answer personally where needed, but i am in doubt

Looks like some of us are awaiting reply. It’d be no problem to remove the other files, I just wouldn’t know how to treat generic_template.txt in order to have its responses addressed somewhere…
Removed all but the generic tepmplate file in order to clean up the dashboard. Still awaiting reply.
There's no progress in porting localized pages to the new back-end system. Thanks for translating the generic autoresponder, we'll leave them on SVN in the hope they'll be used in the future. No point in leaving this bug open forever though.

(In reply to Francesco Lodolo [:flod] from comment #9) > Thanks for translating the generic autoresponder, we'll leave them on SVN in It was never translated (as I never got the needed info above and wouldn’t know what to enter myself) and it cannot be simply translated according to the l10n notes you wrote in there. Since the file keeps showing up on the dashboard, is it safe to delete it, or better to slightly modify and keep it?
(In reply to Ton from comment #10) > It was never translated (as I never got the needed info above and wouldn’t > know what to enter myself) and it cannot be simply translated according to > the l10n notes you wrote in there. Poor copy and paste on my side. > Since the file keeps showing up on the dashboard, is it safe to > delete it, or better to slightly modify and keep it? It would be better to modify it according to your community needs, at least the copy in the repo is correct. No need to keep this bug open anyway.
