I was forwarding an event invitation from GoToMeeting and discovered it is not possible to forward the message inline. My preferences are set to inline but whether or not I hold shift when pressing 'forward', the message is attached as an .ics file. When I send the forwarded message to myself, it renders like the original but there is an attachment. So nothing is actually broken -- it's just odd and vaguely irritating to pass around messages as attachments. The original message contains two base64-encoded parts: one text/html block and another of text/calendar. Would that be why it has to be attached? I noticed replying is inline but does cause the message to be reformatted in HTML, losing event info.
