User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/7.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E; rv:11.0) like Gecko Steps to reproduce: start computer, open firefox (newest version, cannot find version info, but it was uninstalled and reinstalled like 3 days ago) I literally cannot provide any other information besides that, because that is as far as I got before my whole computer froze for 30-120 seconds, before I had a 5 second window to do stuff in the firefox browser before it froze for another 30-120 seconds. Actual results: start computer, open firefox, computer freezes, restart computer. start computer, open internet explorer, browsing webpages no problem. Expected results: before it updated it worked perfectly. this is firefox 32.0.3, says its up to date, reinstalled as of 3-4 days ago
This is not likely a security issue so I am removing the flag. Please visit support.mozilla.org for help with your issue. If there is a bug that needs attention from a developer, they can help you to file a good bug report (steps to reproduce, better symptoms, etc). You may want to test to see if this is a profile or addon issue. To start in safe mode with no add-ons : "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -safe-mode To try a fresh profile : "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -P - this will open the profile manager and you can create a new profile to see if it will start with a clean profile.

it also frankly doesn't sound like the cause is firefox. Needs follow up info from reporter, so => incomplete. But if you can you still reproduce this issue with newer Firefox started in safe mode please reopen the bug. If you you no longer see it, please close by setting status to RESOLVED and resolution to WORKSFORME
