User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0 Build ID: 20140923175406 Steps to reproduce: I was watching a web page, then I clicked the "go back one page" button. Actual results: The previous page was loaded but was refreshed (new data appeared). This behavior appeared starting the last Firefox version. Expected results: The previous page should be loaded with no refreshed (keep old page data as is). If the user wants to refresh the page, I am sure he/she can easily find the CONTROL+F5 button. Whenever the user goes back to a previous page, in most cases, he wants to see the old page data exactly the way it was before.
Example? Did you test with a clean profile?
(In reply to Loic from comment #1) > Example? Did you test with a clean profile? You are right, when I create a new profile, the auto-refresh does not happen. So, it is a bug, not a new feature.
Summary: New feature of auto refresh after page-back is very annoying → auto refresh after page-back
A bug in your profile probably. You can test in safe mode to know if an add-on is faulty. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
