Using 10/30 build on Win 2000 I'm seeing a few problems with the ESPN home page at www.espn.com. It shows up correctly on IE 6.0 1. There's a red banner at the top that says ESPN on it with links to many different sites including nba.com, nhl.com, etc. It's supposed to stretch out across most of the page. In the current build I'm seeing it looking squished and not stretching out across the page. 2. There's a story about the Yankees winning today's World Series game. There's a picture of Roger Clemens. Above the picture is supposed to be a title saying "Rocket to the Rescue". In the current build, "Rocket to the Rescue" is huge and overlaps the picture and the text below the photo.

this bug is a flash related bug. If you disable flash(by deleting it from your plugin folder) the page loads correctly albeit without all the new flash they added. The main flash related problem as far as I can tell is that embedded flash doesn't size correctly...
this bug is similar to Bug 79601
I have reverted to build 2001102903 and the page now loads correctly so it may be a regression. The first time I visited it and got it to load correctly I got an error message that the plugin(presumably flash) had performed an illegal operation and it was highly advised that I restart Navigator. After hitting ok, mozilla promptly crashed apparently not trusting my judgement :)). I gone twice since and have had no problems. The attachment also loads correctly now(with older build) while it didn't for me when I was using 2001103103 so it isn't espn fixing the code for the page.
Reassigning to Peter, since it is a flash plugin issue.

looks fine to me on 1127 trunk on NT. I tried the testcase as well as the attachment . Page layout looks ok.
Layout still mangled for me in today's Linux CVS *without* flash plugin.
OS: Windows 2000 → All
While the main espn.com page shows up fine for me in my mozilla build (0.9.7-4mdk, i rebuilt it, have the shockwave plugins), the thing that doesn't work is the men's college basketball main page! http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/mbasketball/index
All testcases on this page WFM on WindowsXP.
