From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98) BuildID: 2001101117 When you attempt to write reply to a message with text quoted, UNDER A CERTAIN CONDITION, pressing delete at the end of a line would cause the next line to vanish. You have some text above the current line and quoted text below the current line. I still couldn't quite figure out how to reproduce the error all the time. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: reply a message in plain text mode, with text quoted. press delete at the end of a reply line, while there is qutoed text below the line Actual Results: sometimes, the next would be totally disappeard. also, the display of the reply lines would have error, leaving a blank area. You need to press RETURN to refresh the screen Expected Results: refer to Netscape Messenger 4.78 :)

haha.. I can reproduce the bug now. IT IS A FREAKING SERIOUS BUG! 1. reply a newsgroup message, text quoted. 2. type a few words. 3. with cursor still at the end of the line you just typed, press <DELETE> 4. BOOM! everything is gone! all the words you just typed.. gone.. abducted... vanished... neutralized... Sorry for submitting a dupe. I had problem using the engiene to search for old bugs.. my english is limited.
reassign bugs in case they are later reopened
