Make life easier for lazy people like me by linkifying "Bug xyz" in commit messages to BMO on Gitweb.
We just need a better git web UI, something that makes this easy. gitweb (the current UI) is also very slow, in particular when listing repos at the top level. Morphing this bug. I've been recommended cgit, and gitlies was also mentioned as being Google's choice. I've also been told that, for various reasons, replacing Mozilla's gitweb entirely might be impossible. If so, we should at least be able to add another web UI alongside. I personally know the person responsible for the git installation at the Linux Foundation, and he's offered his support in setting up a scalable solution. Whatever we go with, we should linkify bug references, as in comment 0.
