1077741 - Add Custom Field Short Title

Please add a custom field "Short Title" to the admin interface.

I found out today that each article will have a short title in addition to the regular title. If short title is not entered, use full title.

The field will need to be used:

1. In the rss feed (could be tricky)
2. On the HP (Featured Articles, Recent Articles)
3. Article Page (Related Articles)
4. Topic Page (All Titles)

Essentially all areas except of the main article page where the full title is used at the top.

Added "Short Title" field. Keep bug open until we've added it to the various places it'll be displayed?

Rex - testing this locally I do not see this field in the admin when editing a post.

I do see it in the simple field management area after running the import. Can you let me know how this works?

Right now, it requires selecting the "Simple Fields" option in this dropdown, then saving the post.  

Looking into making it display by default.

OK, this is a configuration issue - need to select "Simple Fields" as the "Default Post Connector" for Posts. Added to docs.

The short title should now show everywhere you requested. Recommend closing bug.
