I just upgraded to Netscape 6.2 and noticed the following: I can't tab between fields and enter data - i have to click with the mouse before i can enter data. How to reproduce: 1. Choose Edit/View Saved Data 2. In the dialog which shows up, click(with your mouse) in the "Prefix" field 3. Use the TAB key to switch focus to the next field i.e. focus will be swiched to the field titled "First" and you'll see the cursor in that field. 4. Try to type something, you can't - eventhough the cursor is in that field. 5. Click with the mouse in that field. Now you'll be able to type.
I see this too in my win2k 6.2 build.
Another thing i just noticed.... When switching between fields I have to TAB twice go get the cursor to show up in the next field.
cc'ing bryner too
This is all working fine for me... start telling me what OS and machine speed you have, it might be a timing issue. Also, try creating a new profile and see if that helps.
I'm using Win2k on a Dell Lattitude Notebook running at 750MHz Noticed the following when messing around with it some more(does'nt matter if it's in a new profile or an existing profile): * When you hit the <Tab> key once the focus is shifted to the next field - indicated by a dark hilite around that field(but you can't type). * Hit <Tab> again - the dark hilite disappears, you're still in the same field and can type now
I don't see the double tab behavior either... it works fine for me! Need to get a slower machine and try it.
I'm having the same problem on W2K 700 Mhz Pentium
