#STR:

1. Flash your phone with the latest kit-kat base build and FF OS v2.0
2. Go to Homescreen app and open Marketplace Dev or Stage app
3. See how the app starts

#Expected results:
App should normally start, after loading the splash screen.

#Actual results:
After loading the splash screen, the screen goes blank, or sometimes shows a "snow" screen

I uploaded a video to show what's the issue. This is not reproducible with Marketplace prod app

Requesting a window. This is blocking automation efforts.  Need to find on Engineering builds where Dev and Stage variations of the Marketplace app launch correctly.

This issue occurs on 2.0 Flame KK on the v180 KK base including the earliest build available.  No regression window can be found.

Attachment: Logcat of trying to launch Marketplace-dev

This is a logcat of the following manual actions:
1. Start at the homepage of FxOS
2. Tap the Marketplace "Dev" app
3. Wait for it to launch

After the splash screen disappears we are left at a black screen, and this is line 198 of the logcat. I then tapped on the screen, which allowed the app to function again, and the rest of the logcat shows what happened after I tapped on the screen.

I will try to reproduce the "snow" screen as well and attach a logcat for that.

For this one I started with Marketplace-Dev loaded, but displaying a black screen, as the last time. Then I pressed the home button to return to the home screen, then held the home button to bring up the cards view. When at the cards view I can see the Marketplace screen fine in the cards view preview. Then I tap on the Marketplace card to switch back to it, and I am returned to the black screen. The attached logcat covers those actions.

Note that although tapping on the black screen that you see when Marketplace starts sometimes allows Marketplace to continue with a visible screen, the black screen often comes back as you navigate around Marketplace.

Jayme I just flashed the first available "mozilla-central-flame-kk-eng" from 9-4 and I was unable to reproduce this issue on Flame KK.  Please retest.

Scratch that, I see this is only happening on 2.0.  Looks like it's a regression then from navigating from JB 2.0 to Flame KK 2.0 but does not happen on the flame base image for 2.0 (v180).
