Description: when the user swipes down from the top of the screen the handle for the notification/utility tray is being overlapped by the status bar. This prevents the handle from hiding when the Rocketbar is turned off and the status bar changes. This design is mentioned in the document "Ambient_Indicator_Tray_opening_flow.jpg" at location "https://mozilla.app.box.com/shared/yek8hkezu40yjwix4dca/1/2191457275/21421328937/1" Repro Steps: 1) Update a Flame device to BuildID: 20141007040205 2) Launch an app 3) Swipe down slowly 4) Observe the status bar change and the handle being overlapped Actual: The status bar is covering the handle for the utility tray Expected: it is expected that the handle is above the status bar and hides the status bar change. Environmental Variables: Device: Flame 2.2 Master BuildID: 20141007040205 Gaia: 83de447d9ae9a59459d7a445f9348a254c661850 Gecko: 9ee9e193fc48 Gonk: 2c909e821d107d414f851e267dedcd7aae2cebf Version: 35.0a1 (2.2 Master) Firmware: V180 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:35.0) Gecko/35.0 Firefox/35.0 Repro frequency: 100% See attached: video clip(http://youtu.be/6MZYSKYHPaM), logcat, Specs

Marcia, can you please weigh in on whether or not this is a 2.1 blocker?

I don't think this is a blocker, but adding ni on Francis to give his thoughts.

Doesn't seem like a blocker to me but Rob should have final say on this as he's the UX owner for this area.

Eric has been working with engineering on a patch that may address this issue but I'm not sure if it was approved for uplift. I've NI'd him on this bug.

(In reply to Rob MacDonald [:robmac] from comment #5) > Eric has been working with engineering on a patch that may address this > issue but I'm not sure if it was approved for uplift. I've NI'd him on this > bug. A patch for this issue is being worked on in bug 1067913 along with dragging the ambient indicator down with the handle. Unfortunately, it was not uplifted since the patch isn't ready. Alberto is working with Alive to make sure there's a consistent implementation between an active call indicator and notification. Flagging Alberto ni? so he's aware of this bug.
