Bug 1072740 added a promotional doorhanger to try and get more usage of the translation feature, but we won't have any way to know if that doorhanger actually helped users discover the feature, or if they had been using it before already and we just put a doorhanger in their way.

The version number will be enough to tell this, and we don't have any reason to believe that the popup would not be displayed for users once they get into beta 34. So we can confidently say: sample from version 34 -> exposed to promotional doorhanger.
