From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.78 (Macintosh; U; PPC) BuildID: 2001103108 all the characters typed into any field were doubled. This happened for every preferences box, the subject lines in messages, the URL for browsing. For example, typing "www.monkey.org" -> "wwwwww..momonnkkeyey.oorrgg" Note that it wasn't a simple duplication! Presumably has to do with typing speed of some pairs. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. quit 2. restart MacOS 3. launch mozilla 4. start browser 5. type URL or 4. compose message 5. type subject or 4. open preferences 5. select any preference (say, number of days to keep page references) 6. type digits in data box
