How do you access Google Calendar? Are you using the built-in ICS provider, the built-in CalDAV provider or the additional Provider for Google Calendar extension? If using the extension, what version? Do you get any error messages in Tools > Error Console? Are there any error indicators next to the calendar name?

Comment on attachment 8504216 [details] Thunderbird error log I also get similar symptoms to st_hilaire, after identical update. Calendar worked at first, but after next power on and Thunderbird load, calendar is empty and refuses to sync with Google calendar (which is active online). Have uninstalled calendar, then re-installed, with same symptoms - works for a short time only. I am using Provider for Google Calendar 1.0.1. System is Win XP.
Comment on attachment 8504216 [details] Thunderbird error log This is the error message reported in the screenshot in the pdf, the rest are unimportant warnings: > A promise chain failed to handle a rejection > Full message: TypeError: this.mDeferred is null > resource://gdata-provider/modules/gdataRequest.jsm line 236 Hint: You can just copy the error message via context menu and paste them e.g. in a comment here. This ensures that it can be searched and found.
Component: Calendar Views → Provider: GData
I haven't error messages. The calendar is only empty. Installed modules are: Lightning 2.6.6 & Provider for Google Calendar 1.0 That can be a problem with the "Provider for Google Calendar"... Are there was another way for sync with Google calendar ? Thank you.
I have the same problem with the same versions, and Provider 1.0.1. See the error message I get when I try to add a new event to the calendar: [JavaScript Error: "[calCachedCalendar] replay action failed: null, uri=googleapi://realnamereplaced@gmail.com/?calendar=realnamereplaced%40gmail.com&tasks=%40default, result={ "error": { "errors": [ { "domain": "usageLimits", "reason": "variableTermLimitExceeded", "message": "Variable Term Limit Exceeded" } ], "code": 403, "message": "Variable Term Limit Exceeded" } } , op=[xpconnect wrapped calIOperation]"] I did not (manually) exceed any Google usage limits, so maybe there is an error in Provider that re-posts items too many times, so that Google blocks communication?
I solved the problem by uninstalling Lightning & Provider for Google Calendar 1.0 and reinstalling Ligntning and Provider for Google Calendar 1.01 Note: Update Provider for Google Calendar only was not working.
