User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0 Build ID: 20141008065430 Steps to reproduce: At first, due to photophobia issues, I've installed Stylish in order to have darker pages and suchlike. Other plugins installed were the Flash Control, YouTube Downloader, Lightbeam, Evernote Web Clipper and Adblock, Adblock pop-up add-on and Adblock Edge. When trying to post comments on YouTube, a page quickly popped up and then disappeared. Turned off Adblock add-ons, Flash Control, YouTube Downloader, Lightbeam, Evernote Clipper and finally Stylish, respectively in order to see if it would work. Actual results: Still can't post nor see the posted comments from another browser (Internet Explorer) on Youtube. At first I thought it was an issue with the add-ons, which is why I've turned them off in that exact respective order as mentioned. I do have a static IP, no Anti-Virus (Windows 8 single Language; use only Windows Defender; have a trial of Kaspersky Pure 2013 installed but do not use it except for a few check ups from time to time - it is disabled). Do have Quicktime, Intel Identity Protection (disabled), ShockWave Flash, Java Platform, NVIDIA 3D Vision (disabled) and OpenH264 Video Codec provided by Cisco Systems (came with Nightly; didn't have it before) Expected results: YouTube should function properly, allowing me to post comments and see them when posted from another browser.

doesn't block development and doesn't look a11y specific. Reporter: Can you see the comments from other users or does it affect only your comments ? Do you have this issue only with your nightly build or also with a release build ?

I just can't see nor post my comments, only. Nor post them. Happened with the Release and the Aurora build. Both of them the latest. Other comment are just fine, including those that come after mine. Certainly not a software/hardware issue; everything's in check here. If you'd like me to post the exact specs of my laptop I'll be happy to help with anything. Everything else runs smoothly. I had some issues to solve so I couldn't also add to an already existing bug report (not being able to use the share/like links on third party sites to Facebook and Google Plus, which seems to be solved, but I don't think so - also happened in all three builds, plus some issues at Facebook itself. (and some other sites - third party cookie enabling problems; not solved either, but haven't checked if that bug has been issued already, will do asap))
Posting comments on youtube with other browsers works as expected ?
It started working now. I've made another user account after having reinstalled Firefox (offline) and at first tested with one account. After that, I created another account (having uninstalled Nightly, Aurora and the Beta, which I've installed and then uninstalled yesterday) and then proceeded to transfer the data of my old user folder to my second account folder and then signed in to Firefox Sync. It hasn't however, kept neither my passwords and/or add-ons (I took care of storing my passwords and add-ons by taking screenshots of them, though; however they should have appeared in my second new account since everything contained in the older replaced the new content). Will reinstall the Beta, the Aurora and the Nightly each one with a different account to keep on testing, and then get the add-ons.

Addendum: this thus prompts me to seek and/or file yet another bug since it wasn't a problem with my old user account folder in my AppData/Local and Roaming folders, but I'll see what happens first by adding in the same respective order the add-ons. Not a problem with third party cookie enabling as well, I should add. A common bug I see that already happens is Flash freezing. Happened to me since Firefox 29.
It was definitely a user profile problem; it has been solved now.
