Hi,
My name is Tharif and i am a software developer. i am facing a problem in firefox and google chrome. The problem is i cannot able to open the file:// hyperlink in firefox and chrome, i know for security reasons it has been blocked and by using a plug in or changing some security setting it will open, but it is not opening in the window explorer. If there is any way to open a file:// in window explorer pls let me known

AFAIK it's not possibe to call Windows Explorer to open local files linked from a webpage, due to securiy reasons.
