STR: * set your locale to French * go to https://wiki.mozilla.org/index.php?title=Special:Upload * look at the bottom of the page The issue is probably that a ligature is used for the special "fi" sequence, so a special unicode character is used, and maybe we use that unicode character as a font icon somewhere else, expecting that it's not used anywhere. Except it is ;)

What you should read on the button: "Importer le fichier".

Ah actually, this looks more like a generic issue on either Firefox or my system. For example I have the same issue on bugzilla "unspecified" => "fi" gets replaced by the same icon. Closing for now, I think it's more a system-wide change. I'll reopen a separate bug if I find that it's a bug in Firefox instead, but I doubt it.
