Steps to reproduce:
Wanted to signup for an assignment: https://oneanddone.mozilla.org/en-US/tasks/10/
Actual results:
I arrived at the website, and started looking for signup button as it is common for setting up accounts. I saw button "Sign In", which I thought will ask for login details.
Then started looking for additional options, and pressed the button "Get involved", which lead to another website, which I thought is not relevant for signing up. I opened website again, and tried to login, and found out, that I don't need to enter any details, as I am just asked for email, and google did everything for me.
Expected results:
There should be like button which says "Sign Up", and in another windows there should be short explanation, how you would be setting up your account.

This is an issue with Persona, the sign in system that almost all Mozilla properties use. After clicking "Sign in", adding an email will easily sign you up as you already discovered. There is also a "Learn More" link at the bottom that takes you here:
https://login.persona.org/about
That should give you all of the info you wanted to know.

Persona is being decommissioned, so I don't think there's much we can do about this specific UX problem. Hopefully the replacement system can take this feedback into account.
