When receiving sms or mms outside of thread there is no notification tone for it      

Repro Steps:
1) Update a Flame to 20141008000201
2) With a flame not on the messaging app
3) Turn ringtone volume to a level that can be heard  
4) Receive a SMS or MMS

Actual:
no notification tone     


Expected:
Notification tone 

Notes:out of the five devices tested this occurs on 2 devices.Also when this was occuring the tone would sound if user was in a message app message thread.

There is a huge difference in how this works, whether you're in a thread or not.

If you're not in a thread, we send a notification, and it's the System app's responsibility to play the tone for the notification.

Can you please check whether other notifications (easiest could be taking a screenshot) play the sound?

when this was occurring, every type of notification occurred save for receiving SMS's and MMS's. All of which still occurred were sending SMS and MMS's screenshots receiving phone calls and dialling on the dialler.

One other note that might help, this started occurring after several hours on an MMS test suite, so this started after a few hours of sending and receiving MMS and SMS's in large quantities.

Not block on this, as this is a very low repro rate, and doesnt seem to happen on all devices, after talking with the reporter
