In bug 1063193, we found that we were launching Fennec from the search activity when we didn't want to because our isSearchResultsPage method isn't very smart.

As a work-around in that bug, we decided to augment the search plugin parser to support a results URL that won't redirect, but this doesn't solve the problem of knowing whether or not the user is actually still on a results page.
In the long term, if we ever use search APIs to create a native UI, this wouldn't be a problem.
This is an ex-Search Activity now (bug 1221344).
