On 2.1 Marketplace is an iframed app which means that logging into the device will NOT log the user automatically into Marketplace. However, in the settings we incorrectly inform the user that they are signed into Marketplace. Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to Settings ->Firefox Accounts 2. Sign in to Firefox Accounts 3. After the success message notice that there is a section which says Signed into "Marketplace" and "Firefox Sync" 4. Launch Marketplace and check if you are signed in We should not list Marketplace as one of the apps the user is automatically signed into by signing into the phone Platform Version: 34.0a2 Build Identifier: 20141006000205 Git commit info: 2014-10-03 21:14:46 778ebac4

Is this picked up from apps asking for that permission?

This is as designed. It's just a list of FxA-capable apps, not a list of apps the user is currently logged into.
