Hi Matt! We just had a meeting with the Community Team on the Firefox 10th efforts and we were wondering if you could help us do some simple resizing to get the following out (super appreciate it, we love you!!):

1. We also like to use the front of the postcard as the sign that everyone and anyone can print from our participation page online. Could we also get an 8"x11" .jpg file of the image you use on the front of the postcard?
2. On the bus, it'd be cool for the Street Team to have 18" x 24" medium poster sized signs to hold up. Will just ask the printer to blow up the image for me, but just wanted to update you :)

And here's another ask. Let us know if this is doable or not:

1. We'd love to localize the content on the postcards. If we could get you the localized copy by end of week, will you be able to switch out the English copy and get us the files with German, Portuguese, and Hindi? Sorry if this takes some time but it would make a huge impact.

Hi guys, I've attached an example layout for the English postcard.  I've done my best to accommodate all the copy, however I feel it is a bit copy heavy, which especially causes the backside to have a less impactful headline. Right now body copy stands at 9pt, I can't go much smaller than this. This will cause some issues when we go to localize these as English is usually the shortest of the languages. Would love to hear your thoughts.

SWEET! Thank you for cranking this out SO FAST. Thanks for the feedback about the copy. Edits for the front:

-Took out the subcopy. All that the front should say is:
"Firefox is my
independent choice in
_________________________
#ChooseIndependent #Fx10"
-Could we make the title a bit bigger now that there's no subcopy?
-Can the fill-in box much, much bigger as well?

After those edits, the front will be all good to go. I know this is very last minute to ask but anyway you could get these ready by tonight:

-The 8"x11" .jpg sign of the front
-Also a Black and White version of the 8"x11" .jpg sign

Apologies again for the tight deadline. I'm going to cut/edit the copy on the back and will provide you with new copy asap.

I can meet you half way and change the copy to sentence case, but I would rather not put in two lines as it will reduce the size quite a bit and force the fox and tail out of view.

Hey guys! Now that copy is locked, is the back design next? Sorry if I missed that. 

Matt - this would come after all your work on the social graphics (in terms of priority), but I think we'll need another version of this for the events team. It would have the Firefox info on the back minus the instructions for filing out the front. And then the front would be the main campaign visual graphic, possibly with a hashtag thrown in. The due date would be like Nov. 3 (before that if there's time, but totally not necessary). WDYT?

Hi Lizz, what we need today is the front of the postcard (which is done YAY THANKS MATT) and the 8.5x11 (or 11x8.5 since the orientation is Landscape) file with a separate black & white version.

We'd like to start using the sign in our promotional video & start posting photos of it tomorrow!

But yes to the edits Kristin said and just a thought, could the quote "Firefox is my independent choice in (insert country/city)! #chooseindependent #fx10" be bolded or set in another color? just so it stands out from the rest!

Actually, we don't need the bleed for Firefox10th_poster_11x8.5_colour.jpg. Sorry for the confusion. The 11x8.5 are signs for anyone to download online and print through regular home printers.

The 24" x 18" will be used for the posters and need the bleed because they're going to the printers. But I can just use the Firefox10th_poster_11x8.5_colour.jpg file you already posted and have them blow it up.

- I noticed we've been using picture/photo interchangeably and not consistently so lets get consistent. On step 2 it should be: Take a photo (vs "picture") 
- And Michaela just said it should be #fx10 (lowercase f)

Problem in text rendering in Hindi. cc'ing Jafar who can help. afaik, this is due to unsupported Adobe software issue of unicode text.

Hi Matt,

I have corrected both sides. Adobe Photoshop font rendering issue actually affected the whole HI copy. 
I have modified all headings and paragraphs and kept single font for consistency. So You have to play around the document :).
Corrected copy layers are renamed as "Corrected" and made them as non-editable layers to perfectly overcome the font rendering issue. I hope You can play around with those, nicely.

I'd like to note that this is a non-trivial request...German, for example, is pretty different from English in terms of the length of words and often requires layout changes to fit in. So, it's not like this is a simple copy and replace project, necessarily.

I don't think we can commit to anything on this until Matt has had a chance to see the copy. Really need to get these kind of asks at the beginning...it's a lot at the last minute.

Hi John, the localized versions have all been made already as attached to the bug, the resolution on the files just need to made bigger for the posters. Matt, let me know if I'm missing something and it will be difficult to do!
