Thanks to Andrew's eagle eyes, he spotted a bug in the 'Edit this question' area. The product and category fields at the bottom of the "Edit this thread" page become frozen. That is, when you use "Edit details" in a thread to move it to a different product and category, these fields do not update. Thread where Andrew found this bug: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1022399 https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1022399/edit I thought it might be a time based thing. Where a cron job had to run first and that it would eventually get updated by the next day. But Andrew moved that question on Oct. 1st and by the 14th it still hasn't updated.
I am not able to reproduce this on stage: https://support.allizom.org/en-US/questions/1009930 I was able to change both the topic and the product.
I was also able to change them back and forth for the question you posted. It is reflected immediately. Marking WFM

I can see the issue on stage with that question you mentioned.. https://support.allizom.org/en-US/questions/1009930 If you click on "Edit this question", then scroll to the bottom of that page, you'll see: Product: Firefox for Desktop ; Category: Download, install and migration

Hey Andrew, To edit product and topic, you use the "Edit Details" link right on the question page: http://cl.ly/image/2L1G1o3m0H1J Does that work for you?
Ricky, that's what I use to change the product. In the case where I need to edit out personal info as well, after changing product, I go to edit this question. Where sometimes I scroll down to make sure I'm in the right question by looking at product (I multitask ).

No, that's not the issue. It's just that the product listed on the bottom of the edit this thread page doesn't reflect the new product changed.
