See: https://etherpad.mozilla.org/fxos-dialer-scrum Other Etherpads seem to work for me. We have had problems with this Etherpad in other cases as well. Sometimes it gets into a state where anytime we type something, we don't get the associated highlighting, and after a few seconds we are informed that our connection has been lost. When we refresh, our changes are gone. This usually corrects itself after a few hours. If you'd like, I'll file another bug for this, but I have no exact STR, and I thought that maybe these issues are related.
Hey jakem, I know you've dealt with "problem pads" before - any idea what's up with this one?
This one is really odd. Usually I can still see past revisions in the admin interface (and from there determine what broke it and often salvage some content), but right now it doesn't work at all. Might have to nuke it and start over, unless it somehow comes back again. Usually when pads stop working or start behaving oddly, it's a problem with the content in them. Certain UTF-8 characters seem to break it, for example- most characters are fine, but some are bad. My standard recommendation is to try not to copy/paste data into a pad, or if you do, sanitize it down to ASCII first. I can't tell for sure if that will work in this particular case, though, given that I can't get it to load at all. :( The other standard recommendation is to switch to Google Docs. This is better for some workflows, worse for others. If that's viable for you, you might give it a shot.
