Please add a selector that allows us to filter articles by type (Canned response, How to, template, etc.)

This sounds like a filter on the category of templates. That should be pretty easy. Dashboard bugs are always at least 2 points though.

I see a "Filter by type" field to select different article categories on the main KB dashboard page, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/contributors/ The selector works for all article categories except templates ( bug 1115815 is still open). The main KB dashboard page only lists the top 10 articles, though. To get a list of all kb articles you have to click on the "complete overview" link at the bottom. That takes you to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/contributors/kb-overview but the complete overview has no selector to filter articles by category. Joni, Should a new bug be filed to get a filter added to the complete overview or should this bug be reopened?

Thanks for working on this. I'm reopening this bug because we'd like to be able to filter all articles in the dashboard, rather than the top 10. Let us know if it's better to track this in a new bug. (Thanks for the "need info", Alice).
