The 2 nodes for db-moztrap-rw in PHX1 are drained: draining moztrap2.db.phx1.mozilla.com(10.8.70.185):3306 draining moztrap1.db.phx1.mozilla.com(10.8.70.151):3306 Unless I am wrong, this means there is no reacheable master in PHX1 for that dataase.
That's correct and intended. Moztrap is read-write in scl3 but read-only in phx1. Which means that in phx1 the rw pool has no nodes has no nodes, but the ro pool has nodes. We can set a node into the rw pool, but it will be in read-only mode and therefore be unable to write.
Makes sense! I just filed the bug because it showed up in some new monitoring I am working on. Thanks for the explanation!
