Details
(Whiteboard: [SUMO-b2g])
ENVIRONMENT:
Device: Flame
Version: Tested and reproduced on v180 Base Image with the following versions.
v2.0.0.0-prerelease
v2.1.0.0-prerelease
v2.2.0.0-prerelease
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Take the phone to a room with little light (preferably dark), or outside at night.
2. Go into Settings > Display
3. Deactivate "Adjust Automatically" and turn brightness to Maximum.
4. Activate "Adjust Automatically"
EXPECTED RESULTS:
Since the phone is in a dark environment, the screen should automatically dim to a lower brightness.
ACTUAL RESULTS:
The phone's brightness is unchanged. When the screen is about to turn off, it dims itself prior. When the screen is reactivated, it is at Maximum Brightness once again.
Please let me know if there is any information I could provide to help with the investigation and troubleshooting of this issue.
Thanks!!

At first, I thought it didn't happen, but now I see it. And maybe it's made even more visible after patch to bug 1042673.
I'll have a closer look.

Ok, this is bug 989281.
But I found that bug 1042673 made this bug happen also in non-dark rooms, so I'm gonna dupe this bug to bug 989281 and file a separate bug for what I found.
