Steps to reproduce:
1. Install provider for google calendars add-on
2. Create a new remote calendar, select ICal, and put in your google calendars ICal address
3. Watch it begin to sync for the first time...
Actual results:
See attachment. Every event which ever happened in the past gets a new reminder, dated today. It's too many reminders for Lightning to handle, so you have to keep clicking "sync" to load more of them, in the hopes they'll eventually go away. Don't worry, they won't. "Dismiss all" doesn't work.
Expected results:
I have no outstanding reminders, soooo...
