[Tracking Requested - why for this release]: regression The problem happens on Ubuntu12.04 and 14.04, 32bit and 64bit. Steps To Reproduce: 1. Down load tar.bz2 build from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2014-10-15-03-02-02-mozilla-central/ 2. Extract firefox directory from the tar.bz2 file 3. Launch "nautilus", And open the firefox directory 4. Right click on firefox file. And choose Open. Actual Results: Firefox would not start. Expected Results: Firefox should start. What the what? Are you sure you took the build from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2014-10-15-03-02-02-mozilla-central/ , and not the 35.0a1 build from latest-mozilla-central ?

Sorry, my bad, this problem was fixed. The offending patch Bug 857628 had been backed out. Mark, works for me
