Details 
1. Click the Loop talk icon.
2. Click the settings gear icon in the footer (signed in/out - either works).
3. Notice the settings menu appears.
4. Dismiss the doorhanger.
5. Open the doorhanger.
6. Notice the settings menu is still open, even though I dismissed the doorhanger.

Bug 1132301 improved this, but I notice the menu still stays visible if you open the menu without the mouse going over it, and then close the panel.
