Just started using Mozilla. I'm using "Smart Scrolling" in the "Appearance" control panel, so that I get both arrows at one end of the scrollbar. In Mozilla, I can see the up arrow at the bottom of the scrollbar (just above the resize handle) but the down arrow seems to be missing. In fact, the resize handle has been drawn on top of it, leaving about a pixel of it showing (which you can click on in you're careful). I was looking at the URL above when I noticed it.

"About..." says Mozilla 0.9.5, Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:0.9.5) Gecko/20011011. I hope that's what you need.

Reporter: You build is old. Please try a more recent build: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/MacMozillaInstaller.sea.bin
Resolving WorksForMe. Richard, make sure you have the latest Mozilla, v0.9.6, as well the latest Smart Scroll, v3.7.2.

Downloaded 0.9.6. It still has the problem, but I found out why it probably works for you. You need to turn off the "status bar". This makes the scrollbar arrows move down below the resize handle. (I bet it's only eccentric weirdos that turn of the status bar, eh?)

Confirming using Mac/2001112011 (0.9.6), but only under the Classic theme.

I am using the latest nightly from Dec 13 Build ID 2001121308 and believe I am experiencing this bug. I have smart scrolling turned on with both arrows at the bottom of the page. They manner this bug epresses itself is so far (I have only used this build for about 15 minutes) I have seen is to either omit the down arrow or provide both arrows. My guess after the short time I have run this build is that sometimes Mozilla will correctly proivide both arrows and sometimes not. It seems once the browser displays the two arrows properly new windows created will include both arrows. Is this related to or a dupe of bug 105048?
