Nightly 36.0a1 (2014-10-20)
So far I was able to reproduce this only on Galaxy Note 3 (4.4.2) while browsing on one of these sites:

1. Visit any of the sites listed above
2. Long tap on a few titles (~5) and open in new tabs
3. Switch between tabs and scroll to the end of the page on every article

Results: Eventually process org.mozilla.fennec will die due to OOM

W/Adreno-GSL(11974): <sharedmem_gpumem_alloc_id:1489>: sharedmem_gpumem_alloc: mmap failed errno 12 Out of memory
E/Adreno-GSL(11974): <ioctl_kgsl_sharedmem_alloc:1590>: ioctl_kgsl_sharedmem_alloc: FATAL ERROR : (null)
W/EDMNativeHelper( 264): EDMNativeHelperService is published
I/ActivityManager( 850): Process org.mozilla.fennec (pid 11974) (adj 0) has died.

Browsing to will also cause Firefox to close due to OOM on Galaxy Nexus 3 with Android 4.4.2 .Simply wait for the page to load completely.
